Unstoppable is an action thriller movie that came out in the year 2010. It was directed by Tony Scott as his final film. It was also written by Mark Bomback and featured Denzel Washington. This movie was loosely based on an incident known as the CSX 8888 event. It is about a freight train that is a runaway and two men need to stop it before a disaster occurs. According to critics the movies got positive and favorable reviews.

The story is about a West Virginia railroad engineer named Frank Barnes who is carrying out an assignment with new conductor Will Colsen. They are assigned to use a locomotive and pick up several train cars in Pennsylvania. The two men pick up fiver cars and begin to proceed. Meanwhile a couple of others named Dewey and Gilleece are asked to move another freight train off the track.
Dewey puts the train on auto drive and therefore it begins to go full throttle down the tracks. During the course of the incident, Barnes and Dewey desperately try to bring the trains to a complete stop. However they have a very long and hard struggle but eventually stop the trains and prevent a major accident. All of the people on the trains get off of them by getting on other vehicles driving beside the trains.
In the end Barnes retires on full benefits, Will has a second child, Connie gets a new job, Ryan Scott recovers from the injuries he suffered during the accident and Dewey is working at a restaurant. This movie got very positive and favorable reviews from both critics and viewers alike. Many people thought that its pacing was excellent along with its storyline. It was also highly regarded for its sound as it was nominated for an Academy Award in this aspect. For those who like action thriller movies, this is a good movie to watch and one they are likely to enjoy.
