I'm setting up my daughters new eee pc for school and I want to show her how to disable the wifi & bluetooth via the hotkey (function / f2) to save her battery life while shes in class, but it doesn't appear to work - nothing pops up like the owners manual says it will. The volume hot keys don't appear to work either. The hotkey to dim the display does work.

I've disabled lots of junk from the startup menu via msconfig but I don't see anything in there that would lead me to believe it's causing this issue. Nokia 3120 Classic Torch Software. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong? Naruto Shippuden Episode 169 Mp4 on this page.
